Visitors

Our life is filled with visitors again. Yesterday morning, Jane and Jonathan went to the airport to pick up Luke, a Taylor student on his way back from a summer in Nigeria. He was here in Senegal first for a couple weeks with that team that Allison helped orient. He went on, solo, to help out with a school in Nigeria for another month. His flight home is tonight.

Jane was preparing again last night for hosting the 12 folks from Branch Creek church (Philadelphia), so the guys whipped up some dogs and Kool-Aid. The boys played Risk while I decompressed on the PS/2. This will be another week of hustling. Today is a bit restful since the group had an overnight flight and they are recovering with a nap. This afternoon we will do some orientation with them. Then Tuesday through Saturday we’ll be working on a bunch of renovation projects.

It’s the last team of the year. It will be a blast, I’m sure. They seem like great folks. But I’ll be glad for a long break from this side of my life.
