I've been enjoying following the adventures of the Space Shuttle and Space Station crews this week. I was just looking on CNN at
Space crew fixes solar wing - CNN.com. One of the two who have been out side fixing things regularly is Scott Parazynski. If you check out his biography on the
NASA web site you'll see that he grew up overseas, doing school on several continents. In junior high school he was at DA. Our UWM retirees, Don and Jan Kuhn, whose son was his classmate, were able to have contact with Scott. He took up with him a few DA items (T-shirt, sports letter?). He also invited Don and Jan down to Florida for the blast-off. I'm still waiting for their full report on that adventure.
